Como o montante foi menor, a taxa de inflação é superior a 15%.

Ou, uma terceira maneira:

Note que o rendimento aparente foi de jn = 13.870 / 80.000 = 0,1733 = 17,33% no ano. A inflação do período foi de i = 7,3%. Assim, a taxa real foi de:

(1 + jreal) = (1 + jn) / (1 + i)

1 + jreal = 1,0934

jreal = 0,0934 = 9,34%

Portanto, o ganho real foi de 9,34% x 80.000 = 7472 reais
